This small private cocoon is located on the second floor of Michel's apartment. He is happy to welcome travelers for tourist or personal stays in this space specially designed for them. With a little luck, you will have the possibility to chat with him and he will be able to share with you his tips and good addresses for visiting the city!
When you book this apartment, you should know that you will only have access to your own private area, i.e. the one on the first floor. The apartment has two floors; the second floor is the owner's apartment and will serve only as an access to the second floor, which will be entirely private to you. The second floor is not to be used, as indicated in the welcome booklet that will be sent to you before your arrival, to avoid any risk of confusion.
The apartment consists of a large bedroom, a sleeping area, a shower room, and a bright, fully furnished living room with a new, functional and modern kitchen, opening onto the living room.A baby cot is also available on location.
The apartment is not suitable for professionals and companies who reserve the accommodation for their employees.
Location
You will stay in the historic tobacco factory in Metz, that has been carefully renovated, in a flat with a direct connection to the city centre, about ten minutes' walk from Metz Cathedral.
Ideally located, you will be about fifteen minutes from the Place Saint Louis, the famous listed fortification built in the 13th century, La Porte des Allemands, and about twenty minutes on foot from the city's main tourist and commercial points of interest. The Temple de Garnisson and the Temple Neuf are among the cultural treasure of the district. You will find all the amenities in the immediate vicinity with pedestrian access, as well as the main transport links in the city (train, bus, tram, bicycle...).
A parking space is reserved for you and gives you free access to the building's private car park.
Your flat
The flat has been carefully renovated and offers high quality services, combining the charm of the old with the comfort of a contemporary flat. This small private cocoon is located on the first floor of Michel's flat, an owner who is happy to welcome travellers in this space specially designed for them. With a bit of luck, you will have the chance to talk with this owner staying in his secondary apartment that he lives only a few weeks in the year.
The accommodation has two floors; the first floor is the owner's flat and is only used as an access to the second floor, which is entirely private.
The flat consists of a large bedroom, a sleeping area, a shower room, and a bright, fully furnished living room with a new, functional and modern kitchen, opening onto the living room.
You will enjoy the comfort of a top-of-the-range flat, in particular thanks to the equipment provided and the owner's attentions. Tap water is filtered and treated by a water softener, so that it can be used more efficiently.
You will find a 160 cm bed and a sofa in the living room, and a 140cm double bed with a 80cm single bed in the bedroom.
Check-in and Check-out
Beds are made on arrival. For your comfort, Rock in Share provides hotel quality linen.
The first physical entry into the premises is from 4 pm and the departure must be done at 11 am maximum on the day of your departure.
Arrival is on your own. Once the reservation is confirmed, you will receive by e-mail our house guide which will give you access (once your pre-registration is done), to all the information to access the flat very easily: how to get there, the code of the key box ...
